The written scope tells you what I need and what you will receive. It also marks where my part ends.

01Positioning review

When this helps

Different parts of the company explain the product differently. Sales calls stall because the buyer still does not understand what it is, or the team keeps trying to solve the problem with a new name.

What you get

You get one clear explanation of what you sell. I also identify claims to stop using and write language that makes sense to technical and business buyers.

What I do

I review the material you already have and collect written input from the people closest to the product and the sale. You receive a written recommendation and one revision.

How long it takes

This usually takes a few weeks. The written scope sets the exact finish and deliverables.

Tell me this first

Tell me what you sell and who needs to understand it. Then show me where the explanation falls apart.

02Audience and lifecycle plan

When this helps

One message or campaign is supposed to carry people from first contact through regular use. The team has not agreed which audience matters first or what each group needs next.

What you get

You get a prioritized audience definition and useful segment rules. The final plan shows what each group needs from first contact through continued use.

What I do

I review the research and behavior you already have. I test the team's assumptions through written input or interviews, then map the audience journey and lifecycle.

How long it takes

A focused review can take a few weeks. New research or several distinct audiences add time, which the scope will name.

Tell me this first

Tell me what you want people to do and who you think those people are. Then show me where the current plan treats them as one group.

03Role and team design

When this helps

The organization knows work is missing, but the titles overlap or the ownership is unclear. It is preparing to hire or reorganize before defining the work.

What you get

You get role definitions with clear ownership and handoffs. The recommendation says what to hire first and what the role should not absorb.

What I do

I map the work and identify the capabilities it requires. Then I write the role specs and reporting relationships. The recommendation also names the work each role hands to someone else.

How long it takes

A focused team review can be a short project. A larger organization design depends on the number of roles and teams involved.

Tell me this first

Tell me what the team is expected to produce and where the work is falling through. Share any existing role descriptions.

04Independent audit

When this helps

A product, program, or workplace process keeps producing the wrong result. The usual review has not found why.

What you get

You get a written account of where the system breaks and who bears the cost. The recommendation names what to change first. It also says what can wait and which questions need a specialist.

What I do

I review the evidence you already have and trace the work through its handoffs. I look at what the process rewards and where judgment changes from one person to another. I also check who has trouble taking part or moving forward.

How long it takes

A focused audit can be a short paid project. The scope depends on the evidence available and how much of the system needs to be reviewed.

Tell me this first

Tell me what keeps happening and why it matters. Then tell me what has already been checked.

05AI workforce decision review

When this helps

A vendor or internal proposal says an AI system can take over work now done by a role or team. The plan treats a successful demo as proof that jobs can disappear, but no one has counted the human work or the full cost. No one has said who owns the failures either.

What you get

You get a written recommendation on whether the evidence supports the plan. It says what the system has proved and what still needs a person. It also assigns ownership for failures. The recommendation says when the system is ready to try and what would trigger a rollback or a stop.

What I do

I map how the work moves, including its exceptions and quality standards. I compare the proposal's claims with the available evidence. I also count the human time the plan still needs and the work required when it fails. I do not rank employees or decide who loses a job. Legal, privacy, security, and technical assurance require qualified specialists.

How long it takes

A focused review covers one proposal or function. Broader workforce or governance work is scoped separately. The default review does not use personal employee data.

Tell me this first

Tell me what decision is pending and which work the system is supposed to take over. Then tell me what evidence supports the claim. Do not include employee-level data in the first inquiry.

06Public service task review

When this helps

This work is for public agencies and universities. It can also be scoped for a company or nonprofit supporting them. People cannot complete a public task, or staff keep answering the same questions and fixing the same errors. The task breaks between what the website tells people and what the process requires.

What you get

You get a map of the task as it works now. The report ranks the failure points and gives the responsible team a clear repair order.

What I do

I follow one task through the website and forms. I check the instructions and what happens after someone submits or asks for help. I also trace the agency handoffs behind the public steps. I do not redesign or build the site.

How long it takes

A small review can use public material and one staff walkthrough. A larger review of one public service is scoped separately. Participant research and formal accessibility testing require separate work.

Tell me this first

Tell me the task people need to complete and who needs to complete it. Then tell me where the agency sees repeated questions or incomplete submissions.

07Launch decisions and plan

When this helps

The date is on the calendar, but important decisions keep getting postponed. The same message is being used for audiences that need different answers. No one owns the final call.

What you get

You get a written list of the open decisions, a recommended owner for each one, and launch language written for each audience.

What I do

I review the current plan, identify the unanswered decisions, and write the launch documents the team needs to move forward.

How long it takes

I work alongside the launch for the period named in the scope, then hand off the final plan and files.

Tell me this first

Send the current plan and tell me which decision keeps getting pushed.

08Adoption plan and handoff

When this helps

The product shipped, but the intended users are not using it regularly. The team that built it still answers every question and handles every follow-up.

What you get

You get an adoption plan that names the owners and gives each one the document needed to run it.

What I do

I find where people stop. Then I write the missing explanation and the handoff documents. The project ends with a final review of the plan and files.

How long it takes

The project ends after the final handoff. Continued support starts with a new scope.

Tell me this first

Tell me what shipped and who it was for. Then tell me what those people do now.

09Set up or repair a community or developer program

When this helps

Use this when a new program needs an operating plan or a live one is failing inside and outside the organization. The program may support contributors or advocates. It may cover developer education and events. It may also carry product requests or the work that keeps people participating after first use. The queue may be growing, commitments may have lost their owners, or a layoff may have removed the people who knew how the work ran.

What you get

You get a plan that says what needs stabilizing now and what the program should do. It identifies which commitments the organization can keep. It also assigns an owner to each part. If the program needs new hires, I define the roles and handoffs instead of stuffing every missing responsibility into one impossible job.

What I do

I trace the participant journey and the work behind it. I review how people enter the program and how decisions are made. I trace what participants are told and how problems reach an owner. I also check what keeps the program running over time. I can rebuild the program plan and define the work any new role must own. I can also write a structured screen and help the hiring team review job-relevant evidence. The client makes the employment decision. I do not use this work to justify a predetermined layoff or rank current staff.

How long it takes

A focused review can take a few weeks. Urgent stabilization and hiring support are scoped separately. A broader redesign requires its own scope. If the program is already failing publicly, the first scope can focus on immediate ownership and communication. I do not paste a B2B developer-program plan onto a game community or a Web3 project.

Tell me this first

Tell me who the program serves and what it has promised. Explain what is failing now. Say whether the team still exists and which decision cannot wait. Do not send applicant or employee records in the first inquiry.
