Before I start
I use your inquiry to decide whether I can help. If I need research before I can answer, I will propose a small paid project and give you the result in writing.
The agreement says what I will deliver and when the project ends. It lists what I need from you and when reviews are due.
You receive the decisions and files named in the agreement. I price any additional work before it begins.

The agreement lists what I will deliver and what I need from you. It tells us when reviews are due and how many revisions are included. It also states where my part ends and what you pay. It names who may use the files.
Changing the audience or the requested work may change the schedule or price. I will explain the change before I continue.
Short projects are paid before I start. Longer projects use a deposit or payments due before each stage.
Fractional or advisory work uses the same kind of scope as a short project. The agreement says what I own and how much time is included. It also sets the review date and the conditions for ending or renewing the work.
Each review has a purpose and a reply date. The schedule pauses if I am waiting for something I need from you or if a payment is late.
After payment, the client receives the files and use rights named in the agreement.
You decide whether to approve the new work and price.
