What you may do
You may read the public work, use a free tool for your own job search or inside your own company, and share the original West of Obvious link. A product page or written agreement may grant additional rights.
What needs written permission
You may not remove attribution, copy a tool onto another site, sell or repackage the work, upload files to a template library, or use the materials in paid client work without written permission.
Product licenses
Each product page and buyer file identify the license that applies. A personal-use license covers one buyer's own work. It does not allow sharing with anyone else or placing the file in a team or classroom resource library. A practitioner or internal-team license covers the named buyer or one named internal team. A company license covers internal use throughout one legal entity. An advisor or consultant license may allow use during paid client work and delivery of completed outputs.
A standard license does not allow resale or sublicensing. White-label use is also excluded. You may not redistribute the work publicly or remove attribution. Editable source files may not be transferred.
What the tools can and cannot do
The tools provide general information, not professional advice. They do not replace legal, financial, medical, security, or employment advice from a qualified professional. Users are responsible for reviewing and adapting editable materials before using them in an organization.
